Time and attendance software allows four different pay bands in each shift
Workers in the East Midlands were the second most likely to work unpaid overtime at eight hours a week (working 7.5 hours extra), says the TUC. It said that following lay-offs, existing staff are picking up much of the increasing work load through unpaid hours, adding: "There is a serious side to excessive overtime, irrespective of whether staff get paid for it. Bosses should always be on the lookout for a damaging long hours culture in their workplace and take steps to protect their workforce."
Time and Attendance Midlands’ WinTA systems cater for all the working rules a Midlands company should need. Using the software in our packages such as WinTA Start, you can create a wide range of daily working patterns or shifts. Overtime is easily monitored with up to four different pay bands in each shift. Bands are selected based on the time and the number of hours worked. Standard reports in WinTA include: Weekly clock card, Lateness report, Payroll Summary, Absence Summary and Exceptions.
