A bogus security officer fooled staff into handing over cash takings. Detective Inspector Bob Jamieson from Warwickshire Police said: “This was a most unusual theft. The suspect must have made careful plans to coincide with the arrival of the cash security van at the store.” Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw the ‘guard’ get into any vehicle.

Time and Attendance Midlands can provide a Visitor Management System (VMS) so that no bogus visitors can enter your organisation’s premises. VMS allows Reception and other staff to quickly check the identity or enter the details of visitors, and print their personalised ID pass. VMS can print different styles of pass documentation depending on the type of visitor or contractor. These can be produced in advance of a scheduled appointment or impromptu on arrival. VMS registers visitors both on and off site.
