Ashfield District Council in Nottinghamshire is one of the councils hit worst by central funding budget cuts. Jobs and services are set for a trim by the Labour run body, which will have almost a nine per cent reduction in spending power, the maximum allowable, for either 2011 or 2012/13. A transition grant effectively caps the cut at 8.9%, but the original cut will be used as the baseline for 2012-13 figures. The Government wants to see councils share 'back office services' to avoid cuts on the frontline.
A Time and Attendance Midlands clocking system leads to a more efficient working environment. Up to 15 times faster than equivalent swipe card technology, smart cards are the ultimate clocking solution. Standard reports include a Weekly Clock Card, however additional features are available. These include Secondary Pay Bands, where certain pay bands pay into other bands either on a 1:1 basis or by using a multiplier. Time and Attendance Midlands's systems are fully compatible with all working hours' regulations and provide an easy and cost-effective solution to your clocking issues.
