West Midlands Police was the only force in England and Wales to record a rise in crime during last year. Total crime there rose 1 per cent in 2010, compared with a national fall of 6 per cent. The upward trend was due to rises in the number of robberies, burglaries and fraud offences. The number of robberies rose by almost a fifth. Burglaries were up 13%, while burglaries in a dwelling rose 21% and other burglaries rose 4%.
Time and Attendance Midlands offers a combined Time and Attendance and Access Control system which addresses and sorts out all clocking and security issues within your company's premises. The network is modular and completely bespoke. The ingenuity is the same smart cards can be used to both register attendance for the payroll system and gain access via the clocking readers or scanners. Both smart card and biometric scanners can be combined on the same network, giving you full control over who is allowed access through any controlled point at any time of day.
